Performance Details

Code of Conduct

General Conduct

  1. Respect
    Treat all participants, organizers, judges, and audience members with respect and courtesy at all times.

  2. Appropriate Content
    Ensure my performance contains no profanity, violence, discrimination, sexual content, or any inappropriate material for a school environment. All content must be suitable for all ages.

  3. Professionalism
    Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor throughout the entire process, including rehearsals, sound checks, and the actual performance.


Performance Guidelines

  1. Time Limit
    Adhere strictly to the performance time limits of 20 seconds to 1.5 minutes. Performances that are too short or too long may be disqualified or cut off.

  2. Technical Requirements
    If using audio playback, ensure all files are properly formatted and tested. Technical difficulties do not excuse missing time limits.


    3. Safety and Responsibility

    1. Safety First
      Follow all safety guidelines provided by organizers. Use stage equipment responsibly and report any safety concerns immediately.

    2. Equipment
      Treat all school property and equipment with care. Damage to equipment may result in financial responsibility or disqualification.

    3. Health and Wellness
      If you or any performers are not feeling well, notify organizers immediately. Safety and health take priority over participation.


    Participation Requirements

    1. Punctuality
      Arrive on time for all rehearsals, sound checks, and the performance. Missing scheduled times may result in removal from the show.

    2. Communication
      Keep organizers informed of any changes, absences, or special requirements. Check email regularly for updates.

    3. Sportsmanship
      Support fellow performers and accept judges' decisions gracefully. Negative comments about other acts are not permitted.

    4. School Rules
      Follow all school policies and rules during rehearsals and performances. This includes dress code, behavior expectations, and facility usage.


    Consequences

    1. Violations
      Violation of this code of conduct may result in warnings, disqualification from the show, or other disciplinary actions as determined by organizers.

    2. Appeals
      Any disputes will be handled by the organizing committee. Decisions are final.
